Meet Philip Granish

Hi, I’m Philip Granish MS, LLP, EMDRPT-II, a limited licensed psychologist with over two decades of experience working in and around the criminal justice system, and over a decade of working in mental health. I currently provide telehealth therapy to individuals and couples across the state of Michigan.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for anxiety, trauma, and PTSD.

My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, including:

  • The Gottman Method for couples counseling

  • Prolonged Exposure (PE) for PTSD and trauma-related conditions

  • SYMBIS and Prepare/Enrich for pre-marriage counseling

  • The Good Lives Model and Patrick Carnes’ materials for treating sexual addiction and offending behaviors

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for anxiety, trauma, and PTSD.

I believe therapy should be practical, collaborative, and focused on helping you meet your goals. Whether you’re navigating a relationship, recovering from trauma, or seeking guidance for behavioral concerns, I’m here to support you with professionalism and respect.

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me fishing or boating, or spending time with my family. I’m committed to ongoing training and growth, and I look forward to helping you take the next steps in your journey.
